Jakarta, 8 September 2025 – PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (“MedcoEnergi”), through its subsidiary Medco E&P Grissik Ltd., has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by installing rooftop solar power systems across the Corridor Block working area. The installation of 1,500 solar panels is expected to reduce carbon emissions by up to 934 tons of CO₂ equivalent (CO₂e) per year, underscoring MedcoEnergi’s tangible efforts in supporting the energy transition.

With a total capacity of 885 KWp, the rooftop solar PV systems operate across the Suban, Grissik, Dayung, and Sumpal areas. They are projected to generate more than 1,124 MWh peak of clean electricity annually. In addition to reducing gas consumption by approximately 18 MMscf per year, this initiative also cuts carbon emissions equivalent to those generated by a vehicle traveling up to 5.5 million kilometers annually.
