Carmen Gimeno

Since 2011, Carmen Gimeno has served as the Secretary General of GEODE, representing 1,400 local energy distribution companies across 14 European countries.
She is also Partner at VERDIA LEGAL, a law firm expert in energy regulation, and Chairwoman of the Strategic Advisory Group of the EU DSO Entity since 2021.
Carmen coordinated the drafting of the EU DSO Entity statutes (2019-2020) and sits on the Commission Task Force for Smart Grids.
She lectures at Esade Law School and regularly speaks at European energy forums.
Carmen holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona.
