Wallstein China was established in 2011, with core technologies originated from Germany, Netherland and China.
Its main products are PTFE flue gas heat exchangers, which are widely used on coal fired boilers for thermal power plants, sintering machine in steel industry, boilers of petrochemical industry and also used in waste-to-energy plants and hazardous waste incineration industries.
The core component of the PTFE heat exchanger is the fluoropolymer heat exchanging tube. The fluoropolymer material can resist various acid corrosion, this made the PTFE heat exchanger has wonderful performance of zero corrosion, zero leakage, and zero maintenance.
Flue gas heat exchangers are exposed to the risk of low-temperature acidic corrosion, which can lead to leakage failure. If metal material heat exchangers are used, corrosion and leakage typically occur within a few months. In that case, the entire process line must be shut down for maintenance, or, even worse, a new heat exchanger must be replaced. By using PTFE heat exchangers instead, this damage risk can be completely avoided.
Wallstein China mainly supply two types of PTFE heat exchangers: flue gas-to-water heat exchaners and the gas-to-gas heat exchangers.
The HRS (which is also called Heat Recovery System) is a flue gas-to-water heat exchanger that uses cold water to absorb the heat from flue gas, it serves as LT-ECO, Low Temperature Economizer. The HRS can be installed on coal fired boilers of power plant and sintering machine of the steel industry.
The GGH is a direct flue gas-to-flue gas heat exchanger, widely used in waste-to-energy plant and hazardous waste incineration industry.
From 2011 to present, as a global leading supplier of PTFE heat exchangers, Wallstein China has operated several hundred heat exchaners both in China and other countries, with flue gas flow capacities ranging from 100,000 cubic meters per hour to several million cubic meters per hour.
