The 20 kV European‑style compact substation is a key piece of equipment in the ongoing harmonisation of EU power systems. Its primary‑side rated voltage covers 10, 15, 20, 24, 30, 31.5, 33, 35 and 36 kV, while the secondary‑side rated voltage covers 400, 690, 800 and 1140 V, with a maximum capacity of up to 8000 kVA. The unit integrates step‑up/step‑down transformation, protection, condition monitoring, data acquisition and remote operation functions into a single compact enclosure. Thanks to its high protection rating, strong environmental adaptability, small footprint and easy installation, this substation is widely used in a variety of power transmission and distribution applications, including wind power generation, photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems and urban distribution networks, delivering reliable, high‑quality power supply.
