DLMS UA and CEPRI Sign Liaison Agreement to Advance Smart Metering Standardization in China
In China, DL/T 698.45 “Object Oriented Data Exchange
Protocol” is a widely used power industry standard, with approximately 800
million smart electricity meters deployed using this protocol.
In response to the accelerating pace of globalization, both
parties have agreed that integrating DL/T 698.45 into DLMS/COSEM framework and
cooperating on certification testing based on this standard will enable
complementary strengths and deliver mutual benefits.

integration of DLMS/COSEM and DL/T 698.45 standards, enabling the revised
DLMS/COSEM to meet a wider global market demand.” said Sergio Lazzarotto,

reflects the growing recognition of DLMS/COSEM as the universal data format for
smart metering, and we look forward to working together to bring this vision to
life.”
