Data Center Power Forum
Southeast Asia’s electricity demand grew by more than 7% in 2024, while AI and cloud expansion are accelerating a new wave of data center investment across the region. In Indonesia, PLN’s latest power development plan calls for 69.5 GW of new capacity, including major additions in renewables, storage, gas, and grid infrastructure. Yet the real question is no longer only how much power will be built, but whether it can be delivered where data centres need it, when they need it, and at the reliability levels they require.
The Data Center Power Forum brings together utilities, hyperscalers, developers, investors, and policymakers to examine the immediate challenge now shaping digital infrastructure growth in Indonesia: grid readiness, connection timelines, clean power availability, and the conditions required for power and capital to commit with confidence.
