Suhanee Sutree Chit is the Head of Energy and Industry Analysis at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Malaysia. He started his career as an electrical engineer in 2000 and has held various roles with progressive responsibilities ranging from Asset Management, Operations and Power System Planning within the organization since then.

In his current role, he leads a team of experts focusing on developing strategies and long-term development plans for the grid system in Peninsular Malaysia particularly in supporting the Energy Transition goals for TNB and the nation.

He is currently the Chairman of the Working Group on Power System Planning, Operations and Studies of the Malaysia National Standards Committee. He is also extensively involved in the review of the Grid Code for Peninsular Malaysia.
