As Managing Director, Ms. Kanokwan oversees business management and development of Banpu Infinergy and explores new opportunities within the company’s interests to strengthen business portfolio of Energy Technology Business Group under ‘Greener & Smarter’ strategy of its parent company, Banpu PCL. Ms. Kanokwan is celebrated for her modern, liberal management style that welcomes opinions and encourages company’s people to think outside the box, enjoy being team players, and be resilient to the ever-changing business and market conditions, coinciding with ‘BANPU Heart’ that defines BANPU culture as being Passionate, Innovative and Committed.

Ms. Kanokwan initially joined BANPU in the legal department of Banpu PCL, where she took various roles and responsibilities including contract management and project merger and acquisition in manay countries that BANPU invested in. Over the period of nine years in the legal department, she topped up her work experiences with great business acumen through her involvement in project management, team leadership as well as business and financial risk management. Ms. Kanokwan has been charged with many important management tasks over the years. Among them, she was part of the management team to steer BANPU’s organisational change during its major restructuring and she was among the founding members of Banpu Infinergy, all of which have given her deep understanding of BANPU’s businesses. As a leader, Ms. Kanokwan is a visionary executive who keeps her watchful eyes on growth opportunities and partnerships that will further strengthen the business ecosystem of BANPU, such as investment in Sunseap Group Pte. Ltd., Durapower Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., and FOMM Corporation. Prior to BANPU, Ms. Kanokwan has worked in Japanese law firm Ariya Tax and Corporate Services Co., Ltd. as a legal counsel in areas of investment, taxation, and other corporate affairs. Before that, she started her career life at Toyota Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Ms. Kanokwan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with second-class honor from the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University, where she went on to obtain a Diploma of Business Law and a Master of Laws (Private Law). She received a Chevening Scholarship from the British Embassy to study at Sheffield University, United Kingdom, and earned her second Master of Laws (International Commercial Law) there. In addition, Ms. Kanokwan holds a Diploma of Intellectual Property Law from the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), Japan, and a Diploma of Chinese Training Legal Base from China Law Society, China.
