With increasing RE penetration, flexible power generation is, and will continue to be, increasingly necessary to balance the demand for power and the demand for greener sources. This session will examine the technologies and strategies that can be employed to ensure existing thermal plants can continue to play a role, whilst exploring the part peaking power, BESS and of course the role of digitalisation will play in enabling this.
