Toshihiro Oki is Executive Officer and Head of the Platform Business Group at JERA, where he oversees the downstream fuel and power activities and drives collaboration with countries and partners to accelerate energy transition efforts across the industry.

With closed to 30 years of industry experience, Mr Oki’s career spans technical, operational, and executive roles in both thermal and renewable energy. Prior to his current role, he served as JERA’s Head of Global Renewable Energy business, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s international clean energy portfolio. He also served as Managing Director of JERA Power UK, managing investment in JERA’s UK offshore wind project.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Oki held senior leadership roles within the thermal power divisions at Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., in Japan. He progressed through technical and management positions where he contributed to the advancement of the company’s thermal power business and plant development. Mr. Oki holds a Master of Metallurgical Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan.
