Thanapop Pecharamuni
Mr. Thanapop Pecharamuni currently serves as Chief of the Demand Side Management Efficiency Promotion Department at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). He supports the adoption of energy efficiency measures across public and private sectors through EGAT’s Smart Energy Solution Platform, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions.
His responsibilities include providing technical consultation on energy consumption analysis and recommending tailored energy efficiency solutions spanning electricity, thermal energy, and renewable sources. He also manages the monitoring, measurement, verification, and preparation of summary reports on the results of measure implementation (Measurement Report and Verification: MR&V) in accordance with international standards.
Career aside, he holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kasetsart University, Thailand. His additional training includes certifications in renewable energy, heat energy cost reduction, and energy conservation awareness.
