Jane Phung Hui Chiun
With over 10 years of experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) engineering, I have been involved in substation design, electrical installation, product approval, and project management for voltages up to 275kV. My career has given me extensive technical exposure across multiple project stages, from conceptual engineering to execution on site. Currently, I am part of the Single Buyer team, where my focus has shifted towards the evaluation of Independent Power Producer (IPP) proposals. This includes assessing technical and commercial aspects of renewable energy projects such as solar, biomass, and mini hydro. My role supports the development of a reliable and sustainable power system, ensuring proposed generation projects are well-integrated into the state grid while aligning with long-term energy planning objectives.
