ASEAN’s generation mix is undergoing a structural shift. Conventional assets remain critical for baseload and system stability, but must adapt to accommodate renewables, while hydrogen and nuclear emerge as longer-term options. This stream will consider technology readiness, commercial models, and system planning frameworks for an evolving generation portfolio.

Powering Industry & Decarbonisation

ASEAN’s industrial sectors, steel, cement, refining, and mining, represent some of the hardest-to-abate emissions. Nuclear Energy
