The GW4 series disconnector is used in high-voltage transmission equipment with a rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz, to allow high-voltage lines to be transferred without load, and to electrically isolate high-voltage electrical equipment such as busbars and circuit breakers under maintenance from live high-voltage lines.
This series of disconnector features a double-column, horizontal rotary, single-break centre configuration, comprising a base, post insulators, and conductive parts, and can be equipped with grounding switches on one or both sides. Both the main and grounding switches can use either motor or manual mechanisms for three-phase linkage operation or single-phase operation.
When the main switch operating mechanism is operated, the vertical drive linkage drives one of the post insulators of the disconnector to rotate, and through a set of crossed four-bar linkages installed in the base, drives the other post insulator to rotate, thereby realizing the opening and closing operations of the left and right conductive parts.
The GW6A type disconnector is a switch independently developed by our company, fully compliant with the enhancement requirements set by the State Grid Corporation of China for disconnectors. The switch’s moving contact system features a scissor-type structure, with an attractive appearance, excellent electrical and mechanical performance, superior corrosion and seismic resistance. Compared with other types of disconnectors, it can effectively reduce the longitudinal distance of substations, save land area, and minimises the need for lead wires and insulators. It has the following characteristics: The GW6A type disconnector is a single-column vertical-break double-arm folding switch, composed of three single poles, which are operated electrically in linkage. Each pole mainly comprises a base, post insulators, rotating insulators, main blade, fixed contact, and operating mechanism. An earthing switch can also be furnished as required.
The GW7F series three-column horizontal flipping disconnector is used for outdoor three-phase AC high-voltage electrical switchgear. It features a three-column horizontal double-break structure and is mainly used in power supply systems with a rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. It is intended for transferring high-voltage lines without load and for electrically isolating high-voltage electrical equipment such as busbars and circuit breakers under maintenance from live high-voltage lines. The GW7F series disconnector consists of three single poles, each with a three-column structure, mainly composed of a base, post insulators, main blades, and main switch fixed contacts. Three post insulators are set upright on the base, the main switch is installed on top of the middle post insulator, and the two main switch fixed contacts are located on top of the insulators on either side. One or two sides of the fixed contacts can be equipped with a grounding switch depending on site requirements. Both the main and grounding switches can be operated in three-phase linkage operation or single-phase operation using either an motor mechanism or a manual mechanism.
During operation, the main switch on top of the middle post insulator first rotates horizontally by 70°. After the moving contact enters the fixed contact, it then flips 45°, causing the contact fingers of the fixed contact to clamp the moving contact, thus completing the closing action. The opening sequence is the reverse.
